Nivonim leads a Triumphant Yom Sport!

We’re all still feeling the joy from an incredible Yom Sport that adat ha-Nivonim ran this week on Tuesday-to-Wednesday. Kol Hakavod to our Nivonimers!!

It’s an enormous undertaking to plan a camp-wide program that lasts a day and a half! Our Nivonimers were incredible. They had unflagging energy and enthusiasm throughout the process. They started working on planning Yom Sport weeks ago, and they patiently and tirelessly did the hard work to create this amazing event. It was very special to see how well they pulled together as an edah to accomplish this.

We were so proud of them, watching them step up as leaders of camp and truly guide our chanichim/ot (campers) across the edot through Yom Sport with care and love. It was a pleasure to see all the wonderful interactions between our Nivonimers and the younger campers who so look up to them. I particularly enjoyed, as always, seeing the way all of our campers from across the edot were integrated into the performances during Closing Ceremonies. (Keep reading to find the link to watch all of the full videos from Closing Ceremonies.)

Just as we’re proud of our Nivonimers, we’re also proud of all of the rest of our chanichim/ot!! It was incredible to see how enthusiastically all of our campers — including our new Kochavim Bet campers, who’d just arrived on Tuesday! — dove into all of the programming. We worked hard to create a variety of programs that would allow all of our kids to shine, from team sports to silly games to all the artistic creations of our banners and our songs, dances & cheers.  There’s also our “Press Corps” of Yom Sport reporters (scroll down to read the amazing Yom Sport newspaper they created)!

We have lots of photos and videos and other fun stuff from the big event to share!

But first, a commercial announcement:

As we’ve been mentioning in our recent emails, we have been running at capacity the last few years, and we have had wait lists in many edot. We are trying to get our returning campers registered so that no one loses out once new campers begin to enroll. We have had a lot of potential new families come tour camp this summer (with our final big group this Sunday), and we expect many edot to fill up early in the year. So, if you can, please register now to lock in your child(ren)’s spot(s). You have nothing to lose as everything is refundable through the end of November.

We encourage you to register now to lock in your spot and your early registration discount and get a cool new Camp Ramah beach towel for your child! (If you register in the next week, we’ll deliver your child their towel!)

You can fill out the 2025 application on CampMinder’s Campanion App (it’s very convenient on the App!) or on our website.
